Olympic Force-11 Skyhawks-10

WOW! what a game tonight. Both teams came out firing — Skyhawks struck first and shortly thereafter would collect a second, but the Force would answer pulling even and putting the pressure on eventually pulling ahead at the end of one 3-2. Then it was a curse of low ceiling in the second quarter, like the netting was a magnet for every ball we tried to clear and the Force took full advantage of the set pieces scoring three in a row all, of them an 8 ball in the corner pocket. we took some time and collected ourselves and pulled back two goals before the end of the half. First half ends with the Force up 7-4. The rest of the game was literally one for you, one-two for me as the teams traded goals until the final buzzer. Definitely a game to build from. Force wins this one 11-10. — Wade Hoskins

Olympic Force Goals: Kevin Flavin (3), Alex Hernandez (3), Leo Potts (2), David Meherg, Brent Ricigliano, Joe Sammartino.

Snohomish Skyhawks Goals: Andrew Escalante (3), Aaron Burns (2), Tony Clarke (2), Tye Hastings, Alec Molchan, Mike Sitzman.

Skyhawks finish the regular season in 4th place at 2-6-0 and will travel to play whomever finishes first (likely Bellingham) on Saturday Feb. 10 in the WISL semifinals.
