TACOMA, WA— The Western Indoor Soccer League held its annual preseason tournament on Saturday October 28 at the Tacoma Soccer Center. Short matches began at 3 PM and culminated over six hours later in the tournament Final, won by the host Tacoma Stars Reserves 3-1 over current WISL 2-time title holders Bellingham United.
The league now prepares for the kick off of the regular season which takes place on Saturday November 11 when the Tacoma Stars Reserves host the Olympic Force and the Oly Town Artesians host the Snohomish Skyhawks.
All five clubs from the Western Indoor Soccer League brought teams. Joining in as well were a group of players from Yakima under the Yakima United banner. The Tacoma Stars Reserves and Olympic Force both fielded two squads.
